The office toilets in my office are lovely when they’re clean and being a woman I always leave them as I found them, in the clean state that is. You’d think that fellow women would do the same but as it happens, not all the women in my office appear to like the same standard of cleanliness or are bothered if they leave a mess.
It annoys me when:
– I go into a cubicle that smells of smoke because someone went for a fag, and then decided to use the loo and breathe their smoky breath in the entirety of the tiny cubicle. Why can’t they use the loo and then go for a fag? Honestly, some people!
– When someone finishes the loo roll but instead of replacing it, they just leave the cardboard tube on the holder and delve into another roll which is left on the sanitary bin or the floor. Why? It’s not rocket science; you don’t need a degree to change a loo roll!
– When people drop bits of loo roll on the floor in the cubicle and leave it there, why not pick it up?
– When people take the paper towels to dry their hands and put the ones in their hands into the bin. If they happen to drop one, that then stays on the floor. Why? Are these women far too senior to pick up a stray paper towel from the floor? I think not!
It’s downright laziness in my opinion.
I’d only expect this type of behaviour from the gents and their loos. In fact, their loos are probably kept cleaner!
